Our Work
The Alliance works alongside people with lived experience of poverty, community and tribal partners, and public agencies to advance the 10-Year Plan.
Together, we address challenges across the full spectrum of poverty—from preventing poverty and improving access to essential services to strengthening economic stability, expanding opportunities for upward mobility, and supporting long-term wealth building.
Our Current Work
The Alliance, alongside group of lived experts and community and state partners, is exploring the feasibility of and a proposal to implement a direct cash transfer program for pregnant mothers and infants in their first year similar to the RxKids program in Michigan.
Wellbeing in Washington Initiative
We are working on a regional infrastructure capable of bringing together Washingtonians from diverse class backgrounds, lived experiences, sectors and systems to elevate community-led solutions for a “wellbeing economy”.
Midpoint Plan Refresh
2026 marks the midpoint of the 10-Year Plan to Dismantle Poverty. This milestone provides an opportunity to reflect on progress, engage new leaders and partners, refresh the plan to ensure relevance, and identify steps for collective momentum.
