Rx Kids WA Feasibility Study
Rx Kids is a community-wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program originating from Flint, Michigan. For many families, income plunges and expenses spikes right before a child is born and remains high throughout the first year.
Rx Kids in Michigan has proven tremendous success in improving infant and maternal health, supporting families to meet essential needs, and boosting local economies.
The Alliance is working with a group of partners to replicate an Rx Kids-like study in Washington state to increase economic stability for pregnant people and those with infant children.
